Howard & Sally Stevens founded the HR Chally Group to develop an assessment to improve the selection of Law Enforcement Officers and minimize the impact of the pending EEOC law.

Our success with the Department of Justice led us to adapt our assessment process to the study of salespeople, managers, and other customer-facing roles in business.
1992
The HR Chally Group launched the first national sales benchmarking study to identify critical sales practices of exceptional sales forces who became recipients of the World Class Sales Excellence Awards.
2000
The Chally Assessment became one of the first predictive assessments available via the internet.
2019
In the summer of 2019, the one millionth respondent completed the Chally Assessment. In the fall of 2019, Chally introduced our new web-based, mobile-enabled survey platform.
2021
Under a new realm of leadership, Chally underwent a major brand refresh to signal its evolution from a research and advisory firm to a predictive talent SaaS company.
